The goal of this site is to bring to light the lies and half-truths perpetuated against former Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach by the James family, ESPN, and the Texas Tech administration.

He’s a tool. He created a problem with Celina back when GA Moore was there. He helped take SMU to the death penalty and now he had his hand in wiping his son’s ass by taking on Texas Tech.
Craig – what lesson are YOU teaching your son? Your boy was put in “time-out”…simple as that. You came to the rescue? Let the boy walk on his 2 feet. He IS a man…he’s not a child.
Go search for the emails where they discussed ways to get rid of Coach Leach from like a year ago. Jim Sowell, Gerald Myers, and Kent Hance were the ones responsible for Coach Leach being fired, not the “baby james” story.
the truth
You are right,, the kid comes to practice in STREET CLOTHES, wearing his hat on BACKWARDS (the bill on a cap is to shade your eyes), WITH HIS CELL PHONE??? He didnt want to be PART OF THE TEAM!!!,, HE WAS A DISTRACTION.
It has dawned on ESPN James like to them also, thats why there is no coverage on it anymore.
I feel sorry for ADAM JAMES. With a father like that he will NEVER have the values to succeed in life without ENTITLEMENTS.
Craig James needs to be fired. His antics as an ESPN announcer were disgusting. His job was to provide color commentary to the string of bowl games he was covering, not use his spot to spew his vile propaganda against Mike Leach.
Obviously to all, Craig James was PO’d at Leach for not giving his no-talent, lazy and spoiled brat son enough playing time. So conviently slow Adam got a fashionable concussion and a scheme probably began. Then you have the ’shed’ story, just in time to be spread by Criag James when he announces muliple games, including the Holiday Bowl and James was scheduled to also announce the Alamo Bowl game.
Craig James, is also notable because he was apart of the infamous SMU football program of the early 80s, the only NCAA football program to get the death penalty. Why in the world would ESPN hire someone like that to be a college footaball announcer? What kind of message is that to the children? It’s like CNBC hiring Bernie Madoff as an financial analyst.
Leach is gone from Texas Tech, but for some good to come out of this story, Craig James needs to be fired. Sparing the TV audiences from this POS Criag James, would contribute to the enjoyment of viewing for college football fans. He ruins every game he announces, his actions at SMU are unforgivable, and we are sure to suffer even more torture as Craig continues using his spot as a tool to get his son playing time at the sucker football program stupid enough to have that bum on their team.
ESPN: Please get Craig James OFF MY TV.
I love this site! Craig James misused his position at ESPN and acted foolishly on television when he made comments during his work on the Bowl game last week. He wasn’t objective about the situation and relied on his lazy son to determine what ‘actually’ happened. I am not going to watch ANY game on ESPN that has Craig James anywhere near. Fire him!!!
Glad to see a site like this is finally up and active. I can believe the despicable underhanded way Tech administrators treated Leach since they’ve been wanting to get rid of him for a few years now, but I am totally disgusted by ESPN’s lack of professionalism in covering this story. They have reported and aired every rumor or statement from the very FEW folks backing up Adam James and his lies, but have refused to even acknowledge the evidence and vast amount of support for Mike Leach. They say that Adam James’ poor standing as a player and as a pompous jerk are irrelevant to the story, but this is a “he said/she said” story, which makes the credibiity of the folks making statement especially relevant!
This story, absolutely, doesn’t become national headlines if Craig James isn’t an ESPN commentator. For crying out loud, the coach at USF punched a kid and we didn’t hear near as much as the Adam “I was put in time out” James.
By the way – as a football coach myself, we order football pants and jerseys with special pockets to hold cell phones during practices. YEAH, RIGHT.
Odd – Tuberville steps down in December of 2008…. Leach takes Tech to it’s best season EVER, so the admin HAS to make a deal, but tries to fire him anyway.
Then – some loudmouth – no credibility – destroy 3 programs – run for Senate but ain’t got the goods announcer – opens his big mouth.
I smell a RAT as big as the death penalty at SMU and a dirty old equipment locker – how bout you?
the son is a liar, the dad is a liar. the son thinks he’s owed something because his dad works for espn. and espn would never hide anything from the public. we all know espn has a hard on for some of the southern teamsi.e. alabama. coach leach is very believeable. i don’t think he would put a kid in danger. he never has before so why now. especially with this kid knowing he’s a big cry baby. FIRE CRAIG JAMES. ROLL TIDE ROLL
I find it hard to believe that Craig James could keep his job at ESPN when he’s now been involved in two scandals.
If you read the lawsuit, Adam James was faking the concussion to get out of practice. He’s a woos, but Leach still didn’t mistreat him, but removed him.
Craig James is that daddy that always came up to school and complained to the principal because his son didn’t get good grades instead of busting his kids ass. He blames the teacher, the coach, the administration, but it was never his parenting, or his kids attitude!!!!!
Hmmm…I must have missed where Craig James was involved in the SMU death penalty case or Celina. Could someone show me a link?
I don’t know Alan, did Craig James happen to have a son on two teams involved? Texas Tech and Celina? And a star running back who happened to be at SMU during the years when the investigation was done, but is ’squeaky’ clean? Ever hear the term perception is reality? It doesn’t pay to have your football program associated with Craig James. Why would the worldwide leader in sports?
It sounds like even ESPN wants to fire Craig James now. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=ohlmeyer_don&id=4844048
